I think the biggest misconception about me is people really don't know who I really am. They see the party side of me, they see the crazy side of me. But I also have a laid-back side. You know, I'm chill, down to earth. If you want to grab a cup of coffee and just talk about life, I can do that.
What I really love about them... is the fact that they contain someone's personal history...I find myself wondering about their lives. I can never look at a bicycle... without thinking about the person who owned it. How old was he or she? I can never look at a garment... without thinking about the woman who owned it. How old was she? Did she work? Was she married? Was she happy?...Why did they sell it?... When you buy a piece of vintage you're not just buying it - you're buying a piece of someone's past.
"A mighty mass of brick, and smoke, and shipping, / Dirty and dusty, but as wide as eye / Could reach, with here and there a sail just skipping / In sight, then lost amidst the forestry / Of masts; a wilderness of steeples peeping / On tiptoe through their sea-coal canopy; / A huge, dun cupola, like a foolscap crown / On a fool’s head – and there is London Town"
